Evangelism Explosion (“ EE”)

This ministry outreach is in response to the “Great Commission” in Matthew 28:19, where Jesus says, “ Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations….”(NKJV) This ministry was started by Dr D James Kennedy many years ago and now exists in countries all over the world. It was introduced to Brookside Baptist Church by Pastor Ken Keltner and is the “official” evangelism outreach ministry for our church.

We started teaching this model for evangelism to the adults of our church and have now extended it to our teens. To date there have been several hundred individuals committed to studying and going out and sharing the Gospel using the EE model. More importantly, hundreds of people have heard the EE Gospel presentation from our EE teams, and many of them have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.

There are four levels of EE. Individuals are encouraged to take all of the levels and even repeat any of them until they feel proficient. The various levels of EE are offered each Winter and Fall, and teams go out locally to share the Gospel pretty much all year long.
